Moving to online lessons

As you know I am moving to on-line lessons.

Having experimented further I feel that zoom is the best platform to use for online lessons as it allows me to use multiple cameras (overhead and side) which gives a better experience for the student.

A second advantage of Zoom is that it operates on apple, android and PC/laptop.Please download the app for free on google play or the app store.

You will need to sign up for zoom on whichever device will be used for lessons (phone/tablet etc).

Once you have signed up please send me the e-mail address that you have used for your zoom account.Lesson times will continue as scheduled.

I will test the contact on the morning of the lesson, or earlier, to ensure all is set up. At the appointed lesson time you/the student will receive a meeting request on your phone/tablet and once you click ‘accept’ the lesson will begin.

Please have all books, notebook as usual ready for the lesson. I’ll be asking students to have a pencil and rubber at hand so that they can write fingering onto their music. Looking forward keeping the music going
